Four local nonprofits were recipients of the Community Foundation of Greater Huntsville\u2019s fifth annual Share Your Story Video Grant Challenge. The Community Foundation recently awarded thirty $1,000 grants to nonprofits serving the low-income community in the Greater Huntsville area (Jackson, Limestone, Madison, Marshall, and Morgan Counties). This funding was made available through the Cadence Bank Community Reinvestment Fund and an anonymous donor.<\/p>\n
The grants have been awarded to these local Jackson County nonprofits:
\n\u2022 Boys & Girls Club of North Alabama
\n\u2022 Community Action Agency of Northeast Alabama
\n\u2022 Jackson County Drug Court
\n\u2022 Jackson County Family Drug Court aka Jackson County Family Wellness Court<\/p>\n
The check presentation was held August 26, 2022 at 10 a.m. at the Garden of Hope, where a check was presented by Ann Kvach to Judge John Graham and the Family Wellness Court, where a check was presented to Judge Don Word and Family Wellness Court Coordinator Erica Kirkland-Weeks.<\/p>\n
