He taught at and loved North Jackson High for 28 years and became a Certified Sports Field Manager. He was also a member of Kimball Church of Christ and preached the gospel in the valley for churches of Christ for 30 years.<\/p>\n<p>He is survived by his wife of 36 years, Susan Smith; mother, Betty Smith; sister, Becky (Ted) McCoy; brother, Randy (Kathy) Smith; numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
