Mr. Terry Wayne Padgett, 67 of Sylvania, passed away on Saturday, February 26, 2022. Funeral services were held on Wednesday, March 2, 2022 at Rainsville Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Dennis Byrum and family and friends officiating. Burial followed in Unity Cemetery.
\nTerry was a retired Master Brick and Stone Mason, after a 36-year career. He was a family man with an unyielding work ethic who worked hard to provide for his family and was always willing to lend a helping hand. Terry was a member of Sylvania Masonic Lodge for many years. In his free time, he enjoyed working his land, researching Cherokee culture and playing with his granddogs.
\nHe is survived by his wife of 48 years, Donna Padgett; sons, Daniel (Carol) Padgett, Dale (Crystal Padgett; daughter, Destin (Taylor) Padgett; grandchildren, Scott and Paige Padgett; great-grandchild, Melanie; sisters, Shirley Turner, Carol Horton.
