Arlis \u201cDarwin\u201d Wright, 77 of Rosalie passed into the loving arms of Jesus on Thursday, January 27, 2022. Services were held on Saturday, February 5, 2022 at Corner Stone Funeral Chapel in Ider with Bro. Charles Underwood officiating.
\nDarwin was a faithful, loving husband, a wise, strong father, a doting ever-present grandfather and a dependable, protective brother. He gave life and relationships one-hundred percent. He loved working outside, in a garden and with his bee hives. Darwin loved playing the guitar, fiddle and singing gospel hymns. He selflessly helped others and enjoyed giving of whatever he had. He was a loyal friend and neighbor. Darwin thanked God for his many blessings throughout life and always prayed God\u2019s will be done. He was a strong man with a gentle spirit and will be greatly missed.
\nHe is survived by his wife of 50 years, Sandra Wright; son, Brent Wright; daughter, Shannon Wright; granddaughters, Madalyn Sullivan, Millie Sullivan; brothers, Boyce (Rosie) Wright, Joe (Becky) Wright; sisters, Edith (Wade) Murphree, Bernice (Leo) Bridges, Mildred Smith, Sharon (Tommy) Barrentine, Shelia (Larry) Cribb, Reba (Bernard) Givens, Dale (Bryan) Ward; sister-in-law, Deborah (Rickey) Ragsdale; numerous cousins, nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbors, friends. He was preceded in death by his beloved parents, Ernest and Ada Wright; brother, Lowell Wright; brother-in-law, Gary Smith.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
