Mr. Jamie Blaine Pendergrass, 50 of Scottsboro passed away on Wednesday, August 18, 2021. Graveside services were held on Saturday, August 21, 2021 at Free Home Cemetery with Bro. James Hill officiating.
\nMr. Pendergrass was employed by Infinity Orthotics and Prosthetics for the past 11 years. He was the only man to complete the Barbarian Challenge with an above-the-knee prosthetic leg that he made himself. He was a hardworking man and a great father and son. He had a love for Ford Mustangs and enjoyed watching Alabama football.
\nHe is survived by his wife, Meyala Pendergrass; son, Jared Pendergrass; parents, Larry and Martha Pendergrass; brother, Randall (Kathie) Pendergrass, Timmy (Melissa) Pendergrass, Brett Pendergrass; sisters, Diana (J.R.) Dixon, Sunny (Alex) Pendergrass, Aimee (James) Hill; several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his brother, Brian Pendergrass; grandparents, Mamaw Pete and Paul Pendergrass, Naomi and Early Horton.
