Zaye McCrary officiating. Interment followed at St. Bonaventure Cemetery. <br \/>\nMr. Mathis is survived by his sons, Michael Mathis, Richard (Wendy) Mathis; brothers, Robert (Diane) Mathis, Cecil (Linda) Mathis, Calvin (Ann) Mathis; sister, Edith Coffman; grandchildren, Michael Mathis, Jr., Jennifer Mathis, Drew Mathis; great-grandchildren, Paris Mathis, Gavin Mathis, Ashley Hill, Madison McCrary.
