Anthony Barnes officiating. Burial followed in Free Home Cemetery.<br \/>\nJoy was born on Sunday, January 5, 1941 in Marshall County to Henry L. and Daisy Selby Burks. She truly enjoyed her career, spending 18 years with the Marshall County Sheriff\u2019s Department before she retired.<br \/>\nShe is survived by her sister, Judy (Colin) Barnes; special nephew, Dennis (Elaine) Summers; many other nieces and nephews.
