Mr. Leonard Alton Bailey, Jr., 82 of Grant, passed away on Saturday, February 20, 2021 at his residence. Graveside services were held on Wednesday, February 24, 2021 at Free Home Cemetery with Bro. Anthony Barnes officiating.
\nMr. Bailey was born on Saturday, September 3, 1938 in Mississippi to Leonard Alton, Sr. and Nannie Gaddis Bailey. Mr. Bailey was a veteran and retired truck driver. He was also an avid reader and loved country music, Alabama football and old westerns.
\nHe is survived by his loving wife of 65 years, Shelby J. Bailey; son, Ron (Janice) Bailey; daughter-in-law, Michelle Bailey; grandchildren, Isaac Bailey, Kerr (Dale) Walker, Candice (Josh) Ballew, Joey (Felicia) Bailey, Crystal Bailey; step-granddaughter, Valerie Keel; several great-grandchildren.
