Three hundred vaccines will be available each of these days. The clinics will be held in the main lobby of HMC. <!--more--><\/p>\n<p>Vaccines will be given on a first come first served basis to the following groups, per Alabama guidelines:<br \/>\n\u2022 Health care workers<br \/>\n\u2022 People age 65 and older<br \/>\n\u2022 Frontline workers to include:<br \/>\n\u2022 First responders<br \/>\n\u2022 Corrections officers<br \/>\n\u2022 Food and agriculture workers<br \/>\n\u2022 US Postal Service workers<br \/>\n\u2022 Manufacturing workers<br \/>\n\u2022 Grocery store workers<br \/>\n\u2022 Public transit workers<br \/>\n\u2022 People who work in the education sector (teachers, support staff, community college and higher education)<br \/>\n\u2022 Childcare workers<br \/>\n\u2022 Judiciary (including but not limited to \u2013 circuit judges, district judges and district attorneys)<\/p>\n<p>Bring photo ID and insurance card.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Highlands Medical Center will host two first dose COVID-19 Moderna vaccine clinics on Thursday, February 18 and Friday, February 19 from 9 a.m. \u2013 4 p.m. while supplies last.
