Burial followed in Cedar Hill Cemetery.<br \/>\nMr. Anderson was a Lincoln High School and University of Alabama graduate. He served as a medic in the Korean War and worked for the Goodyear Tire and Rubber Company in Ohio and Alabama for 30 years as a manager of Quality Control. He was also a member of Broad Street Church of Christ, where he served as a deacon.<br \/>\nHe is survived by his wife of 64 years, Ruby Nell Holt Anderson; sister, Margaret Farrow; daughter, Linda (Randy) Jones; son, James Robert (Carrie) Anderson; grandchildren, Laura Anderson, Julie Anderson, Matthew Anderson, Austin Jones; son-in-law, Jonathan Macy.
