Leon Hays, 82 of Stevenson passed away Tuesday, May 27, 2020 at his residence. Funeral services were held Friday, May 29, 2020 at Valley Funeral Home Chapel in Stevenson with burial following in Long Acre Cemetery. Services were officiated by Brandon Evans.
\nHe was the oldest of four children and was retired from Shaw Industries. Leon loved his family and friends. He loved to sing and take pictures and videos of his family and was a member of Campbell\u2019s Chapel Church.
\nLeon is survived by his wife of 59 years, Joyce Hays; daughter, Tammy (Ronald) Tilley; sons, Jimmy (Kim) Hays, Jason Hays; sister, Renee (Ralph) Posey; nephews, Shawn (Brooke) Posey, Franklin (Ashley) Posey; grandchildren, Lisa Gamble, Candi Smith, Alex (Dianne) Hays, Dakota Clark, Eric (Christina) Hays, Michael (Judy) Hays, Adam (Lexie) Wininger, Codi Smith; several great-grandchildren who he loved very much.
