Marie Bradford, age 73 of Woodville, passed away on Monday, January 13, 2025. Funeral services were held on Friday, January 17, 2025 from the Scottsboro Funeral Home Chapel. Bro. Mark Warren and Bro. Josh Trottman officiated. Interment followed in the Pinehaven Memorial Gardens.
\nMrs. Bradford is survived by her husband, Roy; brothers, Elmus \u201cOrman\u201d (Diane) Majors, Dewey \u201cLynn\u201d (Sherry) Majors and \u201cTerry\u201d (Renee) Majors; as well as a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.\u00a0
\nMrs. Bradford was preceded in death by her father, Elmus Walker \u201cBuck\u201d Majors; mother, Dorothy Barker Majors; step-mother, Bobbie Jewel Gamble Majors; sister, Rosa Faye Majors (Orville) Dupree; and brother, Kelly Walker Majors.
\nMarie was a member of the Holiness Church over 54 years and the last several years a member of Big Cove Holiness Church.\u00a0 She received the Holy Ghost on March 14, 1970.\u00a0 She graduated from Sparkman High School in 1970.\u00a0 Marie worked at Meadow Gold Dairy for several years.\u00a0 She also worked at two legal offices, this was her favorite job.\u00a0 Although Marie had no children of her own, after her step-mother died, she devoted her life to raising her younger brother Kelly.\u00a0 He was 11 years old at that time.\u00a0 Marie married Roy on May 29, 1992.\u00a0 She enjoyed the many trips they made together to Gatlinburg, TN, and to the beach.\u00a0 Marie enjoyed baking wedding cakes and performing all kinds of crafts. <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
