Derengo Presley, age 81 of Section, passed away on November 10, 2024. Funeral services were held on Tuesday, November 12, 2024 from the Section Funeral Home Chapel.
\nMr. Presley is survived by his son, Stephen Presley; grandchildren, LeAnna McNeil, John Presley; great grandson, Graycen McNeil; sisters, Colene Phillips and Tracy Yerby; brother, David Presley; and girlfriend, Frances Newman
\nMr. Presley was preceded in death by his wife, Peggy Presley; and parents, J.M. Presley and Berthell Presley.
\nWith a Laugh like no other. He always knew how to make us all smile. He could always make us all laugh and have a joke or slick comment for any situation.
\nHe was the type of person who would do anything for anybody. He valued hard work, honesty, and the value of a man\u2019s word.
\nHe was a good dancer, loved horses, and watching westerns -he\u2019s seen every Gunsmoke rerun. He always wanted the best for everyone and knew how to bring out the best in people- especially those he loved. He coached his son, Stephen, in an undefeated baseball season and always watched out for his siblings.
\nAt the end said he was ready to meet the lord and reunited with the ones that went before. While his family and friends will miss him dearly, it is a comfort to know that he is at piece.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
