Rev. Pete Hess officiated. Interment followed in the Cedar Hill Cemetery. <br \/>\nMr. Gilliam is survived by his wife, Carolyn Hambrick Gilliam; sons, James Clifford (Christie) Gilliam, Jr. and Jeffery (Anthony) Gilliam Swaggerty; grandchildren, Ashley Wade, Zachery (Brooke) Gilliam, Hunter (Jessica) Thompson and Tyler Thompson; great grandchildren, Allison Wade, Elias Aldana, Ezra Gilliam; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and cousins; and his fur baby, Gizzy. <br \/>\nMr. Gilliam was preceded in death by his parents, James Horace Gilliam and Mary Lou Gilliam; as well as two brothers, Lawrence Gilliam and Rodney Gilliam. <br \/>\nBorn on January 03, 1949, he dedicated his life to his family and to God. He worked in the aluminum and metal industry until his brain aneurysm.<br \/>\nHe cherished spending time with his loved ones, especially his wife, with whom he shared over 49 wonderful years of marriage.<br \/>\nKnown for being a little stubborn, Clifford was a hard worker, who cared for the union employees. He also had a passion for hunting, fishing, gardening, and ranching. He loved anything with a motor and wheels, including all the cars he had through the years.
