Long, age 76 of Scottsboro, passed away on Friday, September 20, 2024. <!--more-->Funeral services were held on Wednesday, September 25, 2024 from the Scottsboro Funeral Home Chapel. David Long officiated. Interment followed in the Pleasant Hill Cemetery. <br \/>\nMr. Long is survived by his sons, Carthel Grayson, Dennis Earl (Jenny) Long and Paul (Kayla) Long; daughter, Penny Johnson; four brothers, James Long, William \u201cBill\u201d Long, Andy Ray Long and Teddy Long; as well as four grandchildren. <br \/>\nMr. Long was preceded in death by his wife, Patricia Ann Williams; parents, George Long and Margaret Long; sisters, Peggy Erby, Mary Lee Erby, Judy Erby, Wanda Long and Brenda Blevins; and brother, Randy Long. <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>George D.
