{"id":1308,"date":"2020-03-17T08:58:31","date_gmt":"2020-03-17T14:58:31","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.theclarion.org\/?p=1308"},"modified":"2020-03-17T08:58:31","modified_gmt":"2020-03-17T14:58:31","slug":"highlands-medical-center-limits-visitation","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/test.theclarion.org\/?p=1308","title":{"rendered":"Highlands Medical Center limits visitation"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Highlands Medical Center is implementing visitation restrictions for hospital patients, effective immediately.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-1190 alignleft\" style=\"margin: 5px;\" src=\"https:\/\/www.theclarion.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/03\/highlands-300x200.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"200\" srcset=\"https:\/\/test.theclarion.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/03\/highlands-300x200.jpg 300w, https:\/\/test.theclarion.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/03\/highlands-1024x683.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/test.theclarion.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/03\/highlands-768x512.jpg 768w, https:\/\/test.theclarion.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/03\/highlands-1536x1024.jpg 1536w, https:\/\/test.theclarion.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/03\/highlands.jpg 2048w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/>The facility is limiting patient visitors to help protect patients and staff, as well as prevent the potential spread of the COVID-19 in the community.\u00a0 HMC remains open to patients for services in the Therapy Center, Imaging Center, Surgery Center, Outpatient Lab, Sleep Center, and those seeking emergency medical attention.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0\u201cWhile there are no confirmed cases of the virus in our hospital, we are limiting the number of visitors as a precaution for our patients and those providing care to them,\u201d said Dr. Lonnie Albin, Chief Medical Offer at HMC.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Visitation restrictions include:<br \/>\nNo visitors under the age of 16, even when an adult is with them.
