Tipton, age 97 of Woodville, passed away on Tuesday, February 13, 2024. <!--more-->Funeral services were held on Saturday, February 17, 2024 from the Calvary Baptist Church. Interment followed in the Cedar Hill Cemetery. <br \/>\nMr. Tipton is survived by his daughter, Jona (David R.) Clay; grandchildren, Matthew (Tracie) Pittman, Joshua (Christie) Pittman and Christopher (Kristen) Massengale; great grandchildren, Christian, Blake, Ava, Sam, Avery, Brooklyn and Bryant; great great grandchild, Beau; as well as several nieces and nephews. <br \/>\nMr. Tipton was preceded in death by his wife, June Osborne Tipton; son, Bruce Tipton; and parents, William Hunt Tipton and Laura Preston Tipton. <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Samuel A.
