Pallie Haynes Nix, age 84 of Section, passed away on December 26, 2023. Funeral services were held on Thursday, December 28, 2023 from the Section Funeral Home Chapel. Interment followed in the Macedonia Cemetery.
\nMrs. Nix is survived by her daughters, Mary (Frankie) Darwin, Ann (David) Porter, Melissa (Greg) McCutchen; grandchildren, Jim (Crystal) Woods, Wiley McCutchen, Trevier Porter, Drake McCutchen, Cogan McCutchen, Jennifer (Greg) Devanie, Leslie (Joey) Avant, Brian (Sherri) Porter; great grandchildren, Cole Woods, Noah Devaney, Mara Grace Woods, Parker Devanie, Liam Porter, Tanner Porter; sisters, Margorie Varner, Ruth Hancock; as well as a large extended family; and special dog, Hickory.
\nMrs. Nix was preceded in death by her husband, James \u201cJim\u201d Nix; daughter, Susan Hartline; son in law, Kenneth Hartline; son in law, Brian Treece; parents, Daniel Haynes and Vader Haynes; and siblings, Edward Haynes, Wilfur Haynes, Lester \u201cDoc\u201d Haynes, Sidney Haynes, Daniel Haynes, Douglas Haynes and Mauvee Presley.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
