Brenda Jean Shankles Whitfield, age 63 of Rainsville, passed away on Sunday, August 13, 2023. Funeral services were held on Thursday, August 17, 2023 from the Rainsville Funeral Home Chapel. Interment followed in the Rainsville Memorial Park. Rev. Billy Garner and Bro. David Young officiated.
\nMrs. Whitfield is survived by her husband, Dale Whitfield; sons, Eric (Janae) Whitfield and Matthew (Amanda) Whitfield; daughter, Heather (Nicholas) Johnson; brothers, Darrel (Susan) Shankles, Michael (Denise) Shankles, Tim Shankles, and Jeffery (Kathy) Shankles; sisters, Deborah (Harlan) Owens, Vicky (Barry) Justice and Donna (Keith) Gorham; grandchildren, Dakota Johnson, Alicia Jones, Colton Jones, Abigail Whitfield, Anna Tiner, Luke Tiner, Hannah Whitfield, Boston McRay, Keegan Johnson, Madison McRay and Sawyer Johnson.
