Davis, 66 of Scottsboro and formerly of Mt. Juliet, Tennessee, born on Wednesday, September 8, 1956, passed away on Thursday, June 1, 2023.<!--more--> The family will hold private graveside services in Barton\u2019s Creek Cemetery.<\/p>\n<p>Jim, or Pud, as he was affectionately known by his family and friends, graduated from McGavock High in 1975 and went on to work in the HVAC business, a trade he inherited from his father. Jim would own and operate Jim Davis Heating and Air for the next 40-plus years. He was an avid angler, a hobby that brought him much joy. He lived for a period of time on Kentucky Lakes and later moved to Alabama to be near the waters of Lake Guntersville.<\/p>\n<p>He leaves behind his life partner, Ms. Lorna O\u2019Rourke; children, Cora (Brian) Farris, John (Brittany) Davis; mother, Shirley Davis; grandchildren, Regan Farris, Riley, Aubrie, Bentley, Emmalie Davis.
