{"id":10403,"date":"2023-03-15T08:45:57","date_gmt":"2023-03-15T14:45:57","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.theclarion.org\/?p=10403"},"modified":"2023-03-15T08:45:57","modified_gmt":"2023-03-15T14:45:57","slug":"cynthia-anderson","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/test.theclarion.org\/?p=10403","title":{"rendered":"Cynthia Anderson"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Cynthia \u201cCindy\u201d \u201cCiCi\u201d Rogers Anderson, peacefully passed away on Saturday, March 4, 2023 surrounded by her family, following a two-year struggle with ovarian cancer. <!--more-->Memorial services will be held on Saturday, March 25, 2023 at Crossview Baptist Church.<\/p>\n<p>Cindy was born and raised in Marietta, Georgia where she graduated from Sprayberry High School in 1973. She worked as a dental assistant for 25 years, and after moving to Rainsville in 1997, she worked as a manager for DeKalb County Counsel on Aging for four years, as a teach at IHS Pharmacy for two years and retired from Horizon Bank in 2015 after 13 years there as a teller. She was loyal to a fault and fiercely protective of those she loved, a sweet, kind, courteous soul. She had a dry wit, was a master of quick comebacks and had a mischievous sense of humor. You could tell from the twinkle in her eyes what she was thinking or about to do. Always a Georgia Bulldogs fan, she took pride in displaying the red and black amid all the Auburn and Alabama fans she lived among for 25 years.<\/p>\n<p>Throughout her sickness and treatments, Cindy remained positive and high-spirited.
